Virgin beauty of Loango National Park

Loango National ParkLoangoNational Park is located in the west of Gabon. This conservation area was created in 2002 to protect the variety of coastal lagoon Iguéla ecosystems. The present borders of Loango National Park include the terrain of 1,550 km ² and include the typical West African natural inhabitant of the biocenose. So friendly environment for animals you can't find even in Spot Beach in Bahamas or Cow Beach in India. On one side of the park there is a lagoon Nkomi, and on the other - Ndogo.

Amazing nature and rich wildlife

Originally conservation area near Loango appeared in 1956. Only in 2002 here was created the National Park, the fact is that in 2002, the entire list of protected areas in Gabon was revised. To the increase of the protected area of the country in every way contributed the president of Gabon, Omar Bongo Ondimba. As a result, the boundaries of the latter-day 13 parks of Gabon were fenced about 10% of the total land area. Loango National Park is one of the most beautiful protected areas in the country. Moreover on the territory of the park are located some local indigenous population.

Loango National Park is sufficiently been investigated by naturalist Mike Feyom. The emphasis in the research of the scientists is the abundance of hippos in the park. These majestic African animals are found throughout the park, which, in turn, includes the following natural systems: savannas, clean beaches, forests and mangroves. Their home found here the other African mammals, such as: elephant, buffalo, gorillas, leopards and other.

Huge whales and long-living fishes

The most amazing feature of the local fauna are whales, presented fairly plentiful in the waters of Loango National Park. It is also a home for a high number of dolphins and killer whales. Fish in the park is represented by the tarpon and others species that prefer sea water. Atlantic tarpon is a surprisingly big fish that can reach a length of 2.4 m, and the weight of about 150 pounds or more. These fish can live up to 15 years, but only so long live the largest specimens, most often they die early as 9 years old. Sure thing you won't see so huge fishes while fishing in Chandipur Beach or Paradise Beach of Maharashtra.

Wild animals in the open environment

Park is located on the west coast of Africa. Areas have lots of protected beaches, freshwater lagoons and jungle. Animals come to the beach as along the edges of the Loango park stretch pastures, where the hippos and buffalo feed. There is a growing palm Windon Abyssinian where elephants are fed. An important factor in this case for animals is also the absence of people. The beach consists of eggs leathery of turtles. In the water near the edge of humpback whales mating takes place. Therefore if you thought about soaking in the waters or lying on this beach beside wild animals, you can abandon this idea. Even though beach is flooded with tourists, it is not allowed to stay here and swim or sunbath or in any other way disturbs the wild life of the place. If you want to spend leisure time in a calm place with great sand and transparent sea, Barking Sands in Hawaii or McKenzie Lake Beach could be better point of destination for your vacation.

In the jungle you can meet monkeys and butterflies. Insectivorous bats sleep during the day in trees peacefully resting before their active nightlife. At the edge of the forest you can see sunbirds feeding on nectar down from blooming trees and shrubs. Despite of all advantages of human-made resorts, Artificial Beach Sigayya or shining Glass Beach can't be compared to Loango National Park with it's natural charm.

Virgin and glorious Loango National Park

So now if you are looking for the most wild and virgin beach in the world, then you can for sure name three places: Loango National Park, magnificent Maya Bay and majestic Playa de Galpiyuri Beach. Amazing Loango Park will strike you with the abundance of rare species of animals, birds and fish. But be careful, the protected area of the park will not allow you to free walk wherever you want and do whatever you want. In the end, the wild life here is for sure worth the visit and preservation.
